In 2018, we worked with a group of young people to set up a social enterprise. They spent time with a community consultant working through their ideas and the process of setting up the Social Enterprise.
They decided on the name HMG for the social enterprise with the goal of buying old motorbikes, repairing them and selling them on.
The group received a grant from ULTD to set up and run the enterprise. They were able to hire a local mechanic to help them with the repairs and have successfully bought and sold their first bikes.
Alongside this enterprise, they have also been able to go on Trial bikes and enjoy motorbiking in a safe way.
